Brad Miller
Brad has been a Christian for 36 years. One aspect of being an elder that Brad appreciates is sharing the joys and burdens of shepherding God’s flock with two other men of such godliness and commitment. Brad has been married to “the love of my life, Sue” now for 52 years. With whom I share two grown children – a married son living locally with two wonderful kids of his own, and a daughter doing God’s work as a part of a church planting ministry in Williamsport, Pa.
George Wehner
George became a Christian somewhere around 1990. It was at that time when his perspective changed from knowing about who Jesus is and living like Jesus is Lord of his day-to-day life. One of aspect of being an elder that means the most to George is to be able to care for the members of New Life and to maintain an environment where they can grow and flourish in their relationship with God and His people. George says he “was blessed to have been married to my precious wife, Michele” for nearly 39 years. She is now with our Lord Jesus in eternity. Together they have a daughter and son who also live out this faith we have in Jesus.
Jerry Futrell
Jerry has been a Chrisitan since 1985, about 40 years. One aspect of being an elder that means the most to him is working hand in hand with the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ, as one of His under shepherds. To him, this is a special relationship. It also emphasizes the responsibility that the office of elder holds. Jerry has lived in this area essentially his entire life. He married his wife, Bonnie, in 1984. Together they have two sons, two granddaughters and, prayerfully, a healthy grandson on the way.
